Prevention Connections is committed to the prevention and reduction of tobacco use and childhood obesity through education, intervention, policy development and community outreach to improve the health of individuals and communities.

Working in collaboration with the Virginia Department of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Virginia Tobacco Settlement Foundation, Prevention Connections is beginning work on large-scale initiatives such as reducing smoking on college campuses and providing cessation services to parents of young children.
